DALLAS’ VITALYC MEDSPA AMONG FIRST IN U.S. TO OFFER EMFACE™, FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND NONINVASIVE FACELIFTING TREATMENT
EMFACE is the first and only needle-free procedure that simultaneously treats facial skin and muscles in a 20-minute session, providing facelift-like results within weeks

DALLAS (September 26, 2022) – Vitalyc Medspa, North Texas’ go-to source for age-defying treatments for the face, body and skin, is among the first providers in Texas to offer EMFACE™, the first and only needle-free procedure that simultaneously treats facial skin and muscles in a 20-minute session, providing facelift-like results within a matter of weeks.

The brand-new, FDA-cleared EMFACE technology uses a patented combination of muscle contracting and skin-heating to tighten the facial muscles and lift loose skin along the jawline and under the chin, with no needles, fillers, incisions, or sutures involved.

Requiring an average of only four (4), 20-minute treatments scheduled once per week for four weeks, clinical studies have shown users experience a 37% reduction in wrinkles, 23% improvement in lift, 30% increase in muscle tone, 26% increase in collagen, and 25.5% increase in skin evenness. Other benefits include a lift in sagging brows, reduction in forehead lines, a sculpted and more defined jawline, and tightened neck skin.

EMFACE achieves these results via the simultaneous delivery of two powerful technologies: monopolar radiofrequency (RF) energy combined with high-intensity facial electromagnetic stimulation (HIFES), which work together to build and tighten the facial muscles, damage fat cells, heat the tissue, and stimulate collagen production. Patients simply lie down while a conductive pad is applied directly to the skin, allowing the EMFACE gelpads to work the forehead and cheeks. The 20-minute treatment requires no pre-or-post preparation, no downtime, can be used on all skin types and skin tones, and feels like a warm and relaxing hot stone vibrating massage.

Patients will experience an immediate lifting effect after their first treatment, with full results occurring within four to 12 weeks following the final treatment.

“With no needles, injections, surgery, or anesthesia involved, EMFACE is truly a game-changer and an incredibly effective alternative to facelifts, injectable facial fillers, neurotoxins, and other facial contouring procedures,” said Amir Mortazavi, founder of Vitalyc Medspa. “We are thrilled to be the first in North Texas and among the first in the U.S. to offer EMFACE to our male and female clients who want to improve their facial contours without surgery.”

Vitalyc MedSpa is currently accepting appointments for EMFACE treatments at its Dallas, Addison, and Southlake locations, as well as at its new Fort Worth location once open in November 2022. Appointments can be made online at vitalyc.com or by calling (866) 868-2248.

EMFACE is a product of BTL Aesthetics, the company behind the revolutionary body sculpting technology Emsculpt NEO™.

DFW Restaurant Week-Lena Pope (photo credit - Bran
FORT WORTH, Texas (August 4, 2020) – Lena Pope, the Tarrant County beneficiary of DFW Restaurant Week for the past 22 years, is urging local residents to support the 19 Tarrant County restaurants that are participating in 2020 DFW Restaurant Week, taking place August 31-September 6, with optional extension through September 27.

Doing so will not only support local restauranteurs and chefs in dire need of business, but also help improve the behavioral and mental health of the hundreds of local children and families served by Lena Pope.

With more than $2.2 million raised since 1998, DFW Restaurant Week is one of Lena Pope’s largest annual fundraisers.

“As restaurants are suffering 50 percent drops in sales and fighting daily to continue operations due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it is more important now than ever before to dine-in or get take-out from the 19 Tarrant County restaurants participating in this year’s DFW Restaurant Week,” said Ashley Elgin, Ph.D., chief executive officer at Lena Pope. “We are so thankful they’ve chosen to participate and give back during this cataclysmic time where every penny counts, so we’re calling on you – Tarrant County – to do your part, too.”

This year’s participating restaurants will offer both dine-in and take-out options, including three-course prix fixe dinners for either $39 or $49, and two-course lunches for just $19. For each meal purchased at Tarrant County participating restaurants, 10 percent will be donated back to Lena Pope.

This year, we’d be fortunate to see a quarter of that,” added Elgin. “We hope our local residents will see this as an opportunity to give back and open their hearts and wallets to support these benevolent Tarrant County restaurants and our hundreds of families in-need. It’s a win-win.”

On October 4, Fort Worth Country Day (FWCD) will honor the memory of late alumnus Barrett Havran by dedicating its track and field facility in his name. Now named the “Barrett Havran Track,” the dedication event will take place at 1 p.m. at the track’s new-and-improved entrance, located on the south side of FWCD’s Rosacker Stadium.

Havran was a 1998 graduate of FWCD and died in 2011 at age 31. While at FWCD, Havran achieved numerous accolades in both academics and athletics. During his senior year, he served as captain of the football and track teams and set multiple school athletic records – some of which he holds to this day. After graduating from FWCD, Havran accepted a scholarship to run on the men’s track and field team at The University of Texas at Austin, where he was the ninth-ranked decathlete in school history and ranked 18th in the nation before graduating in 2002.

This dedication marks a milestone in the ongoing fundraising efforts given in Havran’s memory over the years. In addition to the track’s new entryway, funds were allocated for updated fencing around the track’s perimeter, as well as added signage to the press box and concession stand area. The inside of the track features four new long jump pits, two new long jump runways, and a new pole vault runway and landing pad. An endowment also was created to support future track updates and improvements, as well as community service initiatives.

“FWCD is honored to dedicate this facility in remembrance of Barrett’s legacy and we’re extremely grateful for all of the generous donors who have made these new additions possible,” said FWCD athletic director, Brian Phelps. “Not only will these updates help improve our athletics amenities as a whole, but they will ultimately advance the practice and potential of our athletes.”
