This Memorial Day weekend, grab your lawn chair and head to Downtown Arlington for three days of FREE live music at Levitt Pavilion! On deck for Friday night: Popular DFW entertainer Michael Hix headlines a concert opened by the winners of the 2021 Start The Journey teen music competition. On Saturday, kick back for an evening of country and alt-country/rock music with opening act Palmer Anthony and headliner Cody Canada & The Departed, noted for their chart-topping “Hippielovepunk” 2015 album. On Sunday, get ready to get on your feet and dance, because none other than five-time Grammy winners and legendary Tejano artists Little Joe Y La Familia are taking the stage, following an opening performance by up-and-coming Tejano band Grupo Pression. All shows begin at 7:30; early arrival is HIGHLY recommended, especially for the Sunday night Tejano show. Pack your picnic basket or avail yourself of food truck fare on site, or make plans to come early/stay late and enjoy a bite at one of Downtown Arlington’s nearby eateries or watering holes. This weekend of Levitt concerts is sponsored by Downtown Arlington; the Start the Journey show is also sponsored by the Simon 50th Anniversary.
