For a while,Michael Lee’s music was mostly influenced by the blues, then he found himself at the Fort Worth Stockyards. At that point, he began infusing blues and country together to render a perfect blend of Texas country; his sound is guaranteed to please when he takes the Levitt stage on Friday night.
Before you hear from Michael Lee, enjoy an opening performance from Texas blues rocker and touring veteran Buddy Whittington, whose diverse music influences and lifelong love affair with the electric guitar and will be on display for what’s sure to be a high-energy show. Buddy’s current working band, which has been playing together for 20 years, features Michael “Mouse” Mayes (guitar/ vocals), Wayne Six (bass/vocals), and Randy Chez (drums).
