As usual, Arlington is gearing up to celebrate Independence Day in a big way. Here’s a list of the festivities:
July 4th Fest at Six Flags Over Texas
Six Flags will host their annual July 4th Fest from July 2-4. This year’s celebration will feature a laser and fireworks show at the Music Mill Amphitheater beginning at 9:45 p.m. each evening throughout the weekend. Present a can of any Coca-Cola® product, along with park admission or Season Pass, and you’ll receive exclusive early access to select rides one hour before the park opens, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. each day on July 2,3, and 4.
Light Up Arlington
The party starts at 6pm on July 3rd and will include live music, food trucks and activities for the kids. Fireworks will begin around 9:45 pm. Visit the Light Up Arlington website for all of the details
Levitt Pavilion Concerts
The Levitt will continue their free concert series throughout the weekend with The Verve Pipe on Friday night, July 1 at 8pm, Zane Williams on Saturday night, July 2 at 8pm andHannah Kirby and Brad Thompson on Sunday during the Light Up Arlington celebration. Arlington’s 51st Annual 4th of July Parade
Arlington’s 4th of July parade is a long-standing tradition and it just gets bigger and better every year. The parade takes place in downtown Arlington beginning at 9 a.m on Monday, July 4. This year’s theme is America the Beautiful. Plan to get there early to get a good spot! For full details and a map of the parade route, visit www.arlington4th.org.
The Rangers aren’t in town this over the holiday so no fireworks at the Ballpark this year.
