NDBT (North Dallas Bank and Trust Co.), a leading Texas community banking organization, announces the expansion of its community service efforts including an increased focus on NDBT Cares, the bank’s primary service organization. In conjunction with the new direction, Lisa Rushing, a 19-year banking professional, has been promoted to Director of Community Engagement and will lead the emphasis on elevating the overall impact of NDBT’s resource investment supporting the communities served.

In this newly created role, Rushing will identify service opportunities for NDBT to expand its reach across the bank’s business footprint, while connecting NDBT professionals to participate where most needed within the bank’s communities. Rushing has managed the NDBT Cares program for the past year, while also serving as a corporate business development officer. She began her career at NDBT as a teller followed by roles in personal banking and lending.  

NDBT Cares was formed in 2019 to create a more formalized and strategic approach to the bank’s service efforts. Last year alone, NDBT’s community engagement through NDBT Cares produced more than 130 service hours from its banking professionals with pledged donations in excess of $487,000 benefiting approximately 80 organizations.
