Dream Center Dallas

Merriman Anderson Architects (MAA) is proud to announce the Dream Center Dallas project won the Community Impact Award at Dallas Business Journal’s Best Real Estate Deals Awards program.

Dream Center Dallas is a nonprofit organization that provides resources and services in the areas of education, homelessness, hunger, poverty, addiction, abuse and human trafficking within Dallas, in partnership with Church Eleven32.

Dream Center Dallas is repurposing two historic church buildings, formerly known as the Gospel Lighthouse in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, for ministry and community outreach opportunities to connect people to resources and services.

MAA is providing architecture and interior design services and is the Historic Preservation consultant for the project. The firm has designated the site for both architectural and historical significance as a religious property on the National Register of Historic Places. Work is continuing on the historic buildings and transitioning to the interior portion of the project as the exterior restoration is nearing completion.

Once the complex is completed, the center will feature a full commercial kitchen and food pantry, six classrooms, more than 15,000 square feet of auditorium space, offices, media, and recording studios.
