On the second Saturday in January, volunteers from the Richardson Humane society will be at Collin Creek Mall with a variety of homeless cats ands dogs that are available for adoption by qualified individuals. Potential pet owners can meet the animals on Saturday, January 11 in Center Court from 1 to 4 p.m.

Each animal is neutered, microchipped, current on shots, heartworm tested and treated if necessary; and started on heartworm preventative. All potential adopters must be 21 years or older. The organization conducts a home visit before the adoption is approved. Adoption fees, payable in cash or by check to RHS, are $150 for dogs and $100 for cats. The adoption fee for senior pets is $75.

The next Richardson Humane Society adoption day at Collin Creek Mall is Saturday, February 8.

Richardson Humane Society is an all-volunteer organization that has rescued and found homes for more than 1,900 pets since 2000.
