Equest’s Kick-Off Party, hosted at the exquisite home of Coley and Jennifer Clark, is only a hint of the energy, passion, and festivities that await guests at The 2015 Equest Premier Celebration at Texas Horse Park on April 25, 2015. Led by a dynamic committee, Chairs Denny and Connie Carreker and Honorary Chairs Kenny and Lisa Troutt, the fundraising celebration will be a historic occasion unveiling Equest’s newest therapeutic horsemanship facility at Texas Horse Park.

“Equest started as a small local charity 32 years ago and has grown into an internationally-renowned organization for equine therapy,” said Equest CEO Patrick Bricker. “Equest has touched and changed the lives of thousands, affecting not just the Riders but the lives of everyone around us.”

Upon arrival, guests were greeted by Equest’s friendly Mini Ambassadors, Cisco and Dare, twin miniature paint horses.  Lombardi Family Concepts served cocktails and gourmet treats such as Little Smoked Salmon Ice Cream Cones with caviar and crème fraiche and Mini Goat Cheese Tarts with Montrachet cheese. Kingsland Apparel showcased equestrian chic fashion and accessories, a stylish preface for the upcoming Celebration.

Additional notable guests included Jeff Byron, Katherine Coker, Guinn and Betsy Crousen, Paul and Tiffany Divis, Mark and Beth Layton, Lynn McBee, and Bill and Lezlie Noble, among many others.

Long-term Equest Board Member and President of Equest’s Men’s Auxiliary, Bill Noble, distinguished jewelry guru of William Noble Rare Jewels, recommended the Troutts to serve as Honorary Chairs. “Kenny has a passion for horses, a huge philanthropic heart and is a natural fit for Equest. His leadership is priceless and his enthusiasm contagious. Equest will be in for a ride (literally!) at the Celebration.”

The 2015 Equest Premier Celebration will feature the finest in Texas hospitality with Southern food and drinks, live Country music, silent and live auctions, and Equest Rider and Horse performances.

This event will draw its theme and inspiration from Dallas’ deep love of horses.  Attire can be either Western or English Equestrian, but boots are mandatory!  The fundraiser will be held at the new Equest facilities at the Texas Horse Park, which includes an administration building, sparkling new barns and a huge covered arena.  The Texas Horse Park, a 304-acre site located in the heart of the Great Trinity Forest is just eight miles from Downtown Dallas.  Denny Carreker summarized the partnership with Texas Horse Park. “The Texas Horse Park is an integral part of expansion, not only for Equest, but also for the development of South Dallas. It is a beautiful time of progress for everyone – our Riders, our organization, and The City of Dallas. The opportunities for advancement are limitless.”

Complimentary luxury shuttle services will be provided by Premier Transportation from two locations in Park Cities and Preston Hollow. These luxury shuttles are included in all sponsor packages and table purchase, so why not sit back, enjoy a glass of wine or cold beer and let someone else do the driving?
