Texans Can Academy - Dallas Grant East students went on a tour of the University of Texas at Arlington campus to learn more about the campus and begin thinking of different schools where they may want to continue their education.

“We were thrilled to see a great turnout of students to tour the University of Texas at Arlington and are proud of the interest they showed in continuing their education,” said Texans Can Academy - Dallas Grant East’s Campus Transition Coordinator Michael Thomas.

Ten students from Texans Can Academy - Dallas Grant East’s morning classes attended, as well as ten students from the afternoon classes. For the majority of the students, this was their first time on a college campus tour. The main focus Texans Can Academies has during any campus tour is the exposure for their students to learn more about what direction they may want, or not want, to take after graduation.
