COOK CHILDREN’S PICKIN’ FOR PREEMIES GETS A LITTLE HELP FROM PARK PLACE MOTORCARS FORT WORTH

Cook Children’s Pickin’ For Preemies event recently got a little support from Park Place Motorcars Fort Worth for the smallest members of our community.

“Cook Children’s is a wonderful organization, and when we learned they had a need for three additional crib cameras, we were pleased to provide the funding through their Pickin’ for Preemies event,” said George Johnson, General Manager of Park Place Motorcars Fort Worth.

Pickin’ for Preemies is a Texas Red Dirt Country Music Event benefiting Cook Children’s tiniest patients in their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). In 2005, after their own personal experience, Justin and Casey Frazell created the event to combine their love for Red Dirt music with their passion to help premature babies. Cook Children’s neonatal program is nationally recognized and state certified at the highest level. As the only Level IV NICU in Tarrant County, Cook Children’s has the technology and expertise to treat the sickest babies with the most difficult and complex diagnoses.

Based in Fort Worth, Cook Children’s Health Care System embraces an inspiring promise – to improve the health of every child in our region through the prevention and treatment of illness, disease and injury.

The not-for-profit organization encompasses nine companies – a medical center, two surgery centers, a physician network, home health services and a health plan.
