Meditation/Mindfulness Practice at Budding Dharma Zen Buddhist Temple Each Wednesday at 1 pm & 7 pm

Have you wondered what Meditation is all about? Could you use the gift of a peaceful and gentle practice in your week? Then you are invited to Budding Dharma Zen Buddhist Temple in Arlington and join with the Sangha for meditation and mindfulness practice.

You don't have to be a Buddhist or experienced in meditation.  

 Zen-to-Go at 1:00 pm is shorter than the 7:00pm session and is an opportunity for Zen (seated) Meditation for 25-30 minutes.  This is for folks who find evening schedules difficult due to family or work schedules.  The Zen-to-Go session ends no later than 2:00pm.    

 At the 7:00 pm gathering, we practice Zen (seated) Meditation, walking meditation, Shibashi and sharing of mindfulness practices, many inspired by the teachings of the Buddha.  The 7:00 pm session is generally finished by 830-845 pm.

 There is no charge for either session, though donations (Dana) are gratefully accepted.  Both schedules are held each Wednesday.  Come to either the 1:00 pm or the 7:00 pm session or come to both!!  All are invited!!

 Plan on arriving on time for either the 1:00 pm or 7:00 pm session, but If you are new to sitting in meditation try arriving 15 minutes early for some personal instruction on technique.   Wear comfortable loose clothing for either session.

 Parking is only permitted on the side of the street opposite from the Temple. There is a visible Buddhist flag attached to the mailbox to facilitate location.
