What better way to cool off an August day than with some light-hearted entertainment and ice cream! That’s what The Parks at Arlington has planned for kids – an Ice Cream Social starting at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13. Along with singing and dancing, little guests will be treated to an ice cream sundae, complete with topping. Kids can stop at the craft table, too and create an ice cream treat magnet that looks so sweet it could be real

Kids Club is held on the lower level near Nordstrom Rack and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Reservations are not needed, but adults who are bringing five or more children should call Tina Aboulhosn (817) 467-6496, x11 so club organizers will have a giveaway for every participant. Kids Club begins at 11 a.m. and lasts from 45 minutes to one hour. Adults are required to stay with children. The activities are designed for ages two to six, but all ages are welcome.

The Parks at Arlington has completed a major renovation and remodel, creating a brighter, more welcoming environment with enhanced amenities and aesthetic upgrades. Changes include the addition of stone veneer on interior columns, all new tile flooring, new furnishings and light fixtures, giving the center a modern prairie-style look and feel. The Food Court is all new with a redesigned seating area, featuring new furniture and colors. Become a fan of The Parks at Arlington on Facebook. The Parks at Arlington is at I-20 and Cooper in Arlington, Texas. For information, visit www.theparksatarlington.com or call (817) 467-2757.
