Family and friends will be walking in memory of Arlington resident Maddie Higgins at the 9th annual Dallas-Fort Worth Brain Tumor Walk on November 8. Last year was the first year Team Maddie participated in the National Brain Tumor event. Their team of 89+ members raised $6,663 and ranked sixth in fundraising out of 181 teams that participated in the event.

The Dallas-Fort Worth Brain Tumor Walk connects brain tumor survivors, patients, family members, caregivers, and friends for an inspiring, family-friendly fundraising walk. Proceeds raised at the event go toward funding critical brain tumor research and raising vital awareness of the disease.
