Tusk Enterprises recently hired Thomas “T.R.” Griffith II as the medical staffing company’s first chief technology officer. The Arlington-based company, which includes Rhino Medical Services and Hospitalists Plus divisions, provides locum tenens (temporary) and permanent placements of physicians and other medical professionals nationwide.

“Tusk continues to expand its services and its roster of clients, and the company needs a focused technology strategist to maintain the complex systems in place and to address areas where Tusk’s technology can improve,” stated Joseph Brunson, Tusk’s founder and chairman, in a press release “T.R., who has many years of IT experience, does all that and more.”

Griffith was IT director at Worksoft in Addison for several years. He also was technology operations director of DFW TechPros in Arlington for two years and IT director of Credit Solutions of America in Addison for two years.

“Tusk has successful IT processes in place,” Griffith stated in the release. “My job is to increase efficiency and find new ways to help Tusk’s 27 employees best serve health care providers and clients.”

Griffith resides in Arlington and attended the University of Texas at Arlington.

Tusk relieves staffing woes of more than 1,000 health care businesses, including some of the largest hospitals and health care systems in the United States.
