Arlington's Newest Chick-fil-A to Open May 8

Arlington’s newest stand-alone Chick-fil-A® restaurant at 4412 Little Road will open May 8, bringing nearly 70 new jobs and the chance for 100 adults to win free Chick-fil-A meals for a year as the chain marks the 50th anniversary of its signature Chick-fil-A sandwich.

The opening is the second of four occurring in the metro region that included last week’s opening in Keller, Texas and the Jan. 30 opening in Frisco, Texas. The fourth Chick-fil-A restaurant will be opening June 5 on Cockrell Hill Road in Dallas. The four openings are part of the 12 slated to open in Texas the first half of this year alone — creating nearly 900 new jobs in the state.

As part of the new Arlington restaurant Chick-fil-A grand opening celebration, the first 100 adults, ages 18 and older with identification, in line when the doors open about 6 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, each will win a one-year supply of free Chick-fil-A® Meals (52 meals consisting of a Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, medium Waffle Potato Fries™ and a medium drink) – a total of more than $30,000 in free food. The line officially opens at 6 a.m., Wednesday, May 7, with the free meal cards being awarded Thursday, May 8, around 6 a.m. The restaurant will open for business immediately thereafter. If there are more than 100 people by 6 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7, all 100 spots will be determined by a drawing held that morning with those selected needing to camp out to secure their spot. For complete rules, see Chick-fil-A First 100 Promotion.

The Parks at Arlington Mall received the city’s first Chick-fil-A in 1988 and was followed five years later with the first stand-alone location.  With the openings in Keller and Arlington, Chick-fil-A will operate 289 restaurants in the state. The new Texas locations are among 88 new restaurants the chain is opening nationwide this year, creating more than 6,700 new jobs.

Tiffany Hassler, who has 13 years of Chick-fil-A experience, cut her teeth on Chick-fil-A working along the side of her father Wayne, who is a 30-year veteran Operator and currently operates the South Cooper Street and the Camp Wisdom & 360 locations. She becomes the third Operator in the family joining her brother Philip who became an Operator in 2013 and operates The Parks at Arlington location. A North Texas graduate, Hassler has served Chick-fil-A in many capacities including market expansion teams, interim manager assignments and WinShape International Youth Reach programs.

“Our focus on freshly prepared food and personal customer service is as central to our new restaurant as it was the day Truett opened his first Chick-fil-A location,” said Hassler. “That commitment continues for me and my team members at our new Arlington location where we can’t wait to continue welcoming and serving our guests in the community.”

The new restaurant, seating 140 inside and 32 outside,  offers free Wi-Fi and the chain’s latest interior design. Families can also enjoy the interactive play area. The restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., serving a full breakfast menu until 10:30 a.m.
