A major exhibit of clocks by 19th century clockmaker Joseph Ives will be on display at the Arlington Convention Center from June 29 - July 1. More than 75 examples of clocks associated with Ives will showcase his innovations at a time when the American clock industry was a cutthroat business. The exhibit is part of the National Convention of the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors, Inc. being hosted by local chapter Lone Star #124. Hours are 1-5 pm on Thursday, 10 am - 5 pm on Friday, and 8 am - 12 noon on Saturday. Some aspects of the convention require membership, but admission to the exhibit is free and open to the public.
