FRIDAY 6/25: Blue Water Highway (with September Moon)

Headliner: Blue Water Highway is a Texas-based roots music quartet known for “glorious three-part harmonies and tight yet inventive musicianship,” as well as two well-received albums released since 2015.

Opening Act: September Moon is a lively, five-piece, harmony-centered band that seems to defy genre classification—but time and again, their sound easily connects with audiences everywhere.

SATURDAY 6/26: Stoney LaRue, presented by Frost (with Jake Bush)  **TICKETED CONCERT**

Headliner: Red Dirt fan favorite and Texas troubadour Stoney LaRue, known for hits like “Oklahoma Breakdown” and “One Chord Song,” will headline the Levitt’s summer fundraising concert. Tickets begin in the $40s.  No coolers or lawn chairs permitted for ticketed shows.

Opening Act: Southern traditions (and a little Gulf Coast seawater) inform the signature style and sound of Texas country singer-songwriter Jake Bush, who takes his show on the road to more than 250 performances each year.

SUNDAY 6/27: Southern Avenue (with Texicana)

Headliner: Memphis-based Southern Avenue is a Grammy-nominated band noted by one reviewer for a “modern sound melding gospel-infused R&B with a rootsy rock feel.” Since the release the group’s award-winning 2017 debut album,  Southern Avenue has toured and performed across the U.S. and around the world, including appearances at festivals like Bonnaroo, Firefly, Electric Forest, and the International Blues Challenge.

Opening Act: Texicana came into existence when a group of musical friends met up at a neighborhood bar “just to see what would happen.” A few short months later, the East Dallas-grown indie band emerged as the winner of indie radio station KXT’s “Tenth Anniversary Tiny Cake” contest for local groups. Texicana’s first EP, “No Good Reason,” is coming soon.

All shows begin with an opening act at 7 pm (unless otherwise noted); headliners go on at 8 pm. Follow the Levitt on social media or visit the Levitt website for weather updates, FAQs, and tips for nearby dining.
