Montana Williams will give an overview of the Arlington Parks and Rec volunteer program, highlighting key volunteer opportunities, the application process and the department’s goals for volunteerism. He also will discuss the Keep Arlington Beautiful initiative, its past and plans for renewal.

Montana Williams is an administrative professional with 10-plus years’ experience in public horticulture. A Colorado State University graduate (bachelor’s in horticulture, MBA), he has spent the bulk of his career working for nonprofits and two municipalities, creating and maintaining natural spaces, and connecting his community with the plant world through volunteerism. He is most passionate about creating systems that mobilize human capital to better our world for people and wildlife. He works in the city's Administrative Services area.
